Here is an excerpt of the interview.
I began working as an EMT paramedic and then in the Children’s Hospital in a surgical heart unit where there was a lot of transitioning. I was privileged to witness the passing of beautiful souls. I always sent them my love during their transition. Often I would see their spirit lights emanating up from their body. I believe working in the hospital unit helped me become a better medium. I knew it was not for me to impose on anyone’s grief, but rather to offer support to parents and families. I joined a small pediatric bereavement committee, for families to have their children honored, and unbeknown to them, reunions were taking place.
To answer your question, I was in my mid 20s when I realized this was my path. I did not start working publicly until later in life. The catalyst was a promise I made to God to serve and help others when my son was brought into the hospital as a DOA. He had been in a tragic motorcycle accident. This event was life-changing and my son survived. Eventually, I knew I needed to honor my promise to God and share my abilities openly.
